Thursday, April 25-11am - The National Center for the Study of Civil Rights & African American Culture will host its annual E.D. Nixon Institute for Research & Cultural Enrichment Symposium.

Alabama State University will hold its 287th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 11, at 9:45 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
The Department of Languages & Literatures is currently accepting entries for its new literacy magazine. Any member of the Hornet family (students, faculty, and staff) is welcome to submit an original poem, short story, one-act play or visual piece to appear in the department's fall issue.
