International Education Week (commonly known as IEW) is held the third week of November. For 2023, it will be November 13-17.
For the Fall 2023 semester, Alabama State University has enrolled international students from over 40 countries.
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. Different universities have ideas on how to celebrate this week. Some universities with activities planned include:
