July 2024 - What's Happening @ LWLC: Park & Recreation Month

Since 1985, the United States has celebrated July as the nation's official Park and Recreation Month. The idea for this month was developed by the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA).

The theme selected for July 2024 is Where You Belong, to celebrate celebrates the many ways park and recreation facilities foster a sense of belonging, welcome, inclusiveness, safety, access and meaning.
