What is "World AIDS Day"?

Cause:  AIDS is a stage of  Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV.  When the HIV virus causes so much damage to a person's immune system, that person has  Acquired Immunity Deficiency Syndrome or AIDS.  Since 1981, more than 25 million people have died of AIDS, millions are still affected. Some are aware of it; others are clueless.  

Hence the need to raise awareness: DECEMBER 1, WORLD AIDS DAY

HIV/AIDS Policy and Law Review: Providing analysis and summaries of current developments in HIV/AIDS-related policy and law, the HIV/AIDS Policy & Law Review promotes education and the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences from an international perspective. This journal is located in Lexis Nexis Academic (hasn't transferred to Nexis Uni yet).

PubMed: PubMed comprises more than 23 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
