July 2019 - What's Happening @ LWLC: Park & Recreation Month

Parks & Recreation Month

Since 1985, the United States has celebrated July as the nation's official Park and Recreation Month. The idea for this month was developed by the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA).

The theme selected for July 2019 is Game On!, to encourage everyone to celebrate the fun, joy, and excitement of local parks and recreation facilities.
